LHS Band has four members selected to the 54th Annual Tenn Tech University Festival of Winds and Percussion

Congratulations to Brandi Hale, Melody Nolte, Madison Fitts, and Katelynn Hunt, four members of the Loretto High School Band on being selected to the 54th Annual Tennessee Tech University Festival of Winds and Percussion.  

The festival was held on the campus of Tennessee Tech February 9 -11.  It was a wonderful weekend with many rehearsals concluding with amazing concerts and performances by the Tennessee Tech Faculty Ensembles and the Tennessee Tech Wind Ensemble. 

The band members worked with guest conductors James Swearingen – Composer who is one of the most performed composers of band music in the world today, Keith Bearden – Professor Emeritus retired from Texas Tech University after 23 year as Associate Director of Bands. , James Spinazzola – who is an active conductor, saxophonist, and arranger/composer currently wind ensemble director at Cornell University, and Director of Bands at Tennessee Tech University Joseph W.  Hermann.
